The relaunch on 5 June cost half of the search traffic. The decline ended in mid-July, and little has come back so far. German is rising again, three quarters of the loss is English and in the retired languages. This report answers four questions: how much is missing, where it is missing, why it is not coming back and what is being done about it.
The number the business measures the relaunch by is not visibility, it is the appointment request. It has fallen from 13 to 4 per month. In the same month a year earlier there were 30. Since the last report neither number has moved much.
The consulting pages are blocked for Google, so nobody finds the way to an appointment through search any more. The last report showed 52 and 7 at this point: that was a counter for triggered events, not for sessions. What stands here are sessions with an appointment request, so that the same quantity is compared across all windows.
Weekly figures since March. The drop sits between go-live and Google recording the website anew. Since mid-July the click line has moved within a narrow band. That is the good news: nothing is falling any more. It is at the same time the bad news: nothing is rising either.
From 24 to 30 August 88 clicks were counted, more than the August average of 76 per week. One week is not a trend, but it is the fourth week in a row without a decline.
Of the 355 clicks missing per month, 180 fall on English and 79 on the retired language versions. 94 fall on German. German is at the same time the only language that is gaining again since the last report, from 183 to 196 clicks. For the Swiss business the damage is therefore considerably smaller than the total figure suggests.
The service and solution pages lose the most, 124 clicks a month. Those are the pages that are meant to bring new customers. The home pages lose 102, almost entirely through the English home page. About us, case studies and news hold up best with 108 of 129 clicks.
The standstill of the last four weeks is not calm, it is an offsetting. The old addresses are losing their last clicks while the new pages are beginning to carry. On the left the pages that have gained: the English home page from 17 to 42 clicks a month, the German about-us page from 1 to 22, the case study on the Amavita app from zero to 15. On the right the pages that are losing. Almost all of them are old addresses dropping out of the index: the old English home page from 79 to zero, the English jobs page from 12 to zero, the Italian home page from 8 to zero. Only the German home page is still standing and loses all the same, from 122 to 81. The gains on the left are nowhere near covering the losses on the right.
The English software development page has never made it into the index since the relaunch. Google reports it as discovered but not indexed. The three old pages behind it had 33,590 appearances a month. Today the new page has none. It is the only loss in the whole report where a technical cause is firmly established.
Of the 672 addresses in the sitemap, 631 are in the Google index today, which is 93.9 percent. At the last report it was 541 of 658, or 82.2 percent. 87 pages have been added since, 24 of them service and solution pages. Indexing is therefore largely done and mostly rules itself out as an explanation for the missing recovery.
41 addresses are still missing from the index. Two of them are the consulting pages, which are blocked for Google in robots.txt. The weightiest single case is the English software development page.
91 old addresses still collect appearances today. 43 of them remain in the Google index and together carry 2,663 appearances and 16 clicks a month. The finding splits into two very different cases.
These pages redirect correctly to the new address, but Google still shows the old one. They carry 2,206 of the 2,663 appearances and 3 clicks. The new target page does not get the credit. These fourteen cases have to be submitted for inspection one by one.
These pages were never redirected and answer normally. They are not legacy, they are a second page on the same topic next to the new target page. Together 454 appearances and 13 clicks. Each case needs a decision: redirect or set apart.
For the ten terms with the most appearances the actual Swiss search results were retrieved, location Switzerland, language German. The picture is more mixed than in the last report: on china marketing w-4.ch holds position 1 in Switzerland. On seven further terms the first page consists of agency pages, so the place is reachable and only the position is missing. On two terms Google answers the question with guides and website builders, and there a service page cannot win.
Three obvious counter-explanations can be tested against the data. None of them holds.
The same calendar days a year earlier: from May to August 2025 clicks fell from 810 to 705, that is by 13.0 percent. This year it is 52.8 percent. August is not a seasonal hole. Comparing August 2025 with August 2026 directly, 55.0 percent of the clicks are missing.
Chinese, Italian, Thai, French and Slovak brought 89 clicks a month before the relaunch. Taking them out on both sides leaves 583 against 307 clicks, a loss of 47.3 percent instead of 52.8. The language reduction explains a fifth of the loss, not the loss.
There was no confirmed core update in August 2026. A spam update ran until 21 August. By then the curve had already been flat for six weeks and it did not change afterwards. The May core update came before the relaunch, the June spam update fell into the window of the first report.
